The mission for the Facilities, Grounds, and Maintenance Department is diverse, comprising of a vast and often unpredictable array of maintenance tasks and projects. Working with department heads and most often the county manager, we provide many services for the county. Many tasks are completed by buildings and grounds personnel in an effort to keep costs down while some are contracted out. 

Other cost saving measures include the use of temporary manpower services are on an as needed basis to augment the department for work assignments. Temporary manpower services also provide for additional support of the county custodial staff and allows for flexibility in scheduling.
