Museum Association
About the Association
The Churchill County Museum Association (CCMA), a nonprofit membership organization, was also incorporated at this time. The association board is made up of 11 community members and one county commissioner.

Anyone in the community can become a member of the CCMA. A small yearly donation will entitle the member to four informative newsletters each year, discount prices in the Museum Mercantile, advance notice of upcoming events, and a free copy of our 100+ page publication In Focus, a book containing contributions by many authors, all highlighting Churchill County history. At 425 members, the CCMA is still growing and donations from memberships go into public programming for the community.

Learn more about membership benefits from the museum's website.

About the Mercantile
The CCMA runs the Museum Mercantile, a store filled with many books and other items of interest. T-shirts, mugs, and other articles offer the visitor a souvenir of their travels while posters, puddle jumpers, and newly made petroglyphs offer historic interest. The store also features authentic Native American crafts, some of which are made by members of the local tribe.
