Current State Requirements

There are state agencies that regulate certain industries in the State of Nevada.  You can start to meet the state regulations by logging on to the Nevada Business Portal, called SilverFlume, and completing your Common Business Registration (CBR), which is basic information such as your name, email, organization, and contact details that nearly every Nevada governmental agency requires.  All SilverFlume partners can access your CBR data at the click of a button.  The integrated service enables you to enter the information just once when interacting with different agencies, helping all parties save time and effort.  If you haven’t completed your CBR profile yet, we strongly urge you to log into www.nvsilverflume.gov to finish the process.

Since not all agencies are partnered with SilverFlume yet, you will also be responsible for contacting those agencies regulating your industry to ensure you have completed all of their requirements in order to be licensed or permitted properly.  Once you have completed the state registration please print your receipt to show proof of compliance for all required permits and forms available through the portal, along with all other licenses, permits, and other forms to meet the state requirements, and then return these with your county business license application to the Churchill County Planning Department, 155 N Taylor St, Suite 194, Fallon, NV  89406, 775-423-7627, .  If you have any questions regarding these regulations, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
