From youth sports to arts and culture to parades and festivals to livestock events - Churchill County has it all! So many events are held throughout the year, you will find yourself having to choose between those that appeal to you! A sampling of some of these events is listed below...
A young girl enjoys the mechanical bull at the Fallon Cantaloupe Festival and Country Fair, Churchill County's signature event celebrating all things agriculture, especially our famous cantaloupes. Held annually at the end of August.
The City of Fallon hosts a community Christmas tree lighting (on Maine Street at the fountain) and open house (at City Hall) the first Friday in December.
Parades are held annually on Independence Day and Labor Day through the streets of Fallon. Parades generally start on South Taylor Street at Virginia Street, proceed north to A Street, east to Ada Street, south to Highway 50/Williams Ave, east to South Maine, south on Maine Street to Virginia Street (front of the middle school).
